Medically monitored weight loss

You're not alone

Are you struggling to lose weight even with diet and exercise? You’re not alone. Many people struggle with weight loss, and finding a solution that works for them is not always easy. That’s where Serene Health & Wellness comes in. Our medically monitored weight loss program offers two FDA-approved drugs, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, proven to help patients lose weight and improve their overall health.
Semaglutide (generic for Ozempic) is a Glucagon-Like Peptide (GLP1) that increases the body’s insulin production, inhibits glucagon, decreases appetite, and delays gastric emptying. These effects result in patients feeling fuller for longer periods, leading to reduced food intake and, ultimately, weight loss.

Semaglutide is a once-weekly self-administered subcutaneous injection, and common side effects include nausea, dyspepsia, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, and injection site irritation.
However, clinical trials have shown that Semaglutide, in combination with diet and exercise, has been proven to reduce, on average, 10%-15% of body weight, with additional benefits including reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, improved energy, improved blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar.

At Serene Health & Wellness

Tirzepatide (generic for Mounjaro) is a dual-peptide that increases the body’s insulin production, inhibits glucagon, decreases appetite, delays gastric emptying, and increases incretin hormone secretion. Unfortunately, Tirzepatide is also a once-weekly subcutaneous injection, and common side effects include nausea, dyspepsia, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, and injection site irritation. Tirzepatide is still pending FDA approval, but clinical trials have shown promising results in weight loss and overall health improvement.
At Serene Health & Wellness, our medically monitored weight loss program starts with a consultation where you will meet with a provider to discuss your goals and symptoms and obtain blood work.
From there, we have follow-up appointments to review all blood work, discuss any diagnosis, and formulate a treatment plan that may include medications and/or diet recommendations to restore optimal function. Our team will coordinate with you for pricing, medications, follow-up visits, and any additional questions you may have.
